How have other backcourts been improved? Here you will find examples of many different sustainable backcourt improvement projects. Some may give you inspiration for you own project. 
When you start on a backcourt improvement project, there are many different issues to consider – funding, planning regulations, community consultation, legal procedures. This section includes a range of information which we hope you will find useful, including links to other organisation which can help.
The SBI has been active since the beginning 2004. During that time, we have run several different events and projects. This section contains information about our previous projects, and reports and presentations from our events.
Many of the reports and information made available are by our members. We welcome all contributions which can sit under the umbrella of Sustainable Backcourts. Here members can discuss current topics.
